Volunteer Spotlight: Luke in North Carolina

Architect with a cause.

Luke is a volunteer at the North Carolina base and part of the Hurricane Florence Recovery team. He is an architect living in San Francisco, designing high-end residential homes.

Luke found All Hands and Hearts when he was searching for a way to apply his knowledge of construction through volunteering. As an architect, he is usually sketching behind a desk or giving direction on site – but never able to pick up a tool. Luke wanted to be more hands-on with his construction knowledge, so All Hands and Hearts is his way of giving back while experiencing the other side of his job. North Carolina is his sixth project with All Hands and Hearts and he is frequently joined by his mom. After volunteer hours, you can find Luke still diligently working on projects for his clients back home!
