Update 1
Landslides on Indonesia’s Sulawesi island have killed 20 people. Mud flows triggered by high-intensity rains flattened four homes in South Makale village in South Sulawesi. Poor weather and damaged roads strained emergency response efforts to the affected areas, making it difficult for vehicles, including ambulances, to evacuate victims.
All Hands and Hearts will continue to monitor the disaster’s impacts.
