Texas Flooding
All Hands and Hearts mobilized a Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) immediately following catastrophic flooding in Kerr County, Texas. Our immediate relief efforts are to ease the burden on families by helping to clear overwhelming debris, distributing essential emergency items and, in a crucial collaboration with Airbnb.org, providing safe emergency housing for families who have lost their homes, for those desperately searching for their relatives and for the tireless first responders.

Currently, we are in Hunt and Ingram, two hard-hit communities, providing immediate cleanup support for two families. After liaising with the Hunt Volunteer Fire Department, we are expanding our reach to six different local areas in need of urgent support. Every moment brings new challenges, and new opportunities to help community members after this tragic disaster.

Over the past few days, our team has been meeting families impacted along the Guadalupe River in Texas. The need here is clear. All Hands and Hearts is on the ground, helping place families into emergency housing and providing critical support to those hardest hit.
Today, our team spent time at Camp Mystic, a youth camp on the banks of the Guadalupe River that was once a place of summertime connection and joy. Now, it’s at the center of one of the deadliest floods in recent memory. Watch the update from our team member, Phil, here.
Our team continues to support flood-impacted communities across Texas. In Williamson County, we visited an RV park that had been home to 30 families. Now, it’s nearly unrecognizable. RV units destroyed, personal belongings swept away and families left without shelter.
We’re working urgently with local partners to help families like those who lived here access emergency housing and other critical support. It’s a sobering reminder of how quickly lives can be upended, but also of the strength and solidarity that emerge in moments like these. We remain committed to supporting these communities as they begin the long road to recovery.
Our team is on the ground in Kerr County, Texas, where emergency response efforts are focused on search and rescue following the devastating Texas floods. With rivers still swollen and many areas closed, local authorities and Texas emergency management teams are still working to find survivors.

Search and rescue efforts are still underway, and many families are facing heartbreaking loss and uncertainty. We’re working closely with local partners to identify the most urgent needs and offer support where it’s needed most. In response to the devastating Texas flooding, All Hands and Hearts is partnering with Airbnb.org to support first responders, search and rescue teams and families affected by this disaster. Airbnb.org is providing free emergency housing for first responders, individuals with missing loved ones who need to stay near search and rescue efforts and residents whose homes have been damaged or destroyed.
Through this partnership, we are working closely with state and local officials, as well as local nonprofits, to identify those most in need and connect them with safe, emergency housing. Together, we’re ensuring that those impacted by the flooding have the support and shelter they need during this critical time. Our hearts are heavy as the devastating impacts of the Texas flooding continue to unfold. Rivers only began to recede late Sunday night, and search and rescue efforts remain ongoing. Many of the affected areas are still under flood watch through Monday evening, with more heavy rainfall expected.
As of today, the confirmed death toll has risen to at least 82 lives lost, including the heartbreaking news that four of the ten missing campers from Camp Mystic, a girls’ youth summer camp, have been found deceased. The disaster struck early Friday morning when the river surged 26 feet (8 meters) in just 45 minutes, while many campers were still sleeping.
We stand in solidarity with all those affected by this tragedy and the first responders working tirelessly on the ground. Our thoughts are with the families and communities facing unimaginable loss.
All Hands and Hearts is staged and ready to join the Kerr County flooding relief efforts as soon as it is safe to do so.
On July 4th, 2025, severe flooding in Kerr County, Texas caused by heavy rainfall has resulted in at least 24 confirmed fatalities and 20 individuals still missing. The region—especially communities along the Guadalupe River—remains under flash flood warnings, and Search and Rescue efforts are ongoing.
In response to this devastating Texas flood disaster, All Hands and Hearts is mobilizing an emergency response team. We are staging just outside the impacted areas to ensure we can rapidly deploy into affected communities as soon as it is safe and we are granted access.
