September 9, 2021 - 14:19 (EDT) - Update 2

International Operations – Super Typhoon Chanthu is now a major category 5 storm with sustained winds of 161mph and gusts to 195mph. Current track predictions place landfall within 45 hours near Batanes in the Phillipines as a Category 4 with the track then shifting north to pass over the south of Taiwan into Southern China with roughly  4 million households within the affected area.
