Ellie began her All Hands and Hearts journey in 2016, when she spent 5 months volunteering in the Philippines and Nepal. She returned to the organisation in 2018 as Partnership Manager in Dominica, and has since provided support to many of our international programs, as well as being a member of the Disaster Assessment Response Team in Mozambique.
Prior to All Hands and Hearts, Ellie worked for a number of different third sector organisations, both in the UK and overseas, championing causes such as educational development and ecological agriculture in East Africa, sustainable transport in South East London, and restorative justice in Bristol. Ellie brings over seven years experience in project and grants management, and her interest in finding ways to responsibly work in different cultures and contexts; cultivating positive professional relationships; and making strategic connections, are what attracted her to the All Hands and Hearts Partnerships role in particular.
Ellie graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Social Anthropology with Development.
