Update to our Board

After 16 years, All Hands and Hearts (AHAH) co-founder David Campbell has chosen to resign as chair of the AHAH board, effective December 2021. Stefanie Chang succeeds David as interim chair. Stef is a long-time AHAH volunteer, led our response to the Haiti earthquake in 2010, has served on our Board since July 2012 and currently chairs our People Development Committee.

“As I celebrate my 80th birthday and step down from the Board of All Hands and Hearts, I do so to accelerate a new era of leadership of this wonderful organization following the appointment of our new CEO Perry Maddox earlier this year; and to open a new era of volunteer-powered disaster relief,” said David. “I founded All Hands to simply ‘Help people help people,’ and I’m proud of all we’ve done and the positive impact we’ve had on hundreds of thousands of lives.”

“As the recent tornados have demonstrated, our mission remains more relevant than ever,” said Stefanie. “We will continue to do what we do best, mobilizing volunteers to help communities impacted by disaster. I thank David for his vision and leadership, and as we look to a new era of volunteer-powered impact, we will continue to put people first and partner with communities to rise together from disaster.”
