Hurricane Lee is expected to bring strong winds and rain to southern New England and will likely continue north along the coast of New England and parts of Atlantic Canada.

September 14, 2023 - 10:30 (EDT) - Update 11

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Bermuda as it faces heavy rainfall and high surf due to the passing of Hurricane Lee.

September 12, 2023 - 12:00 (EDT) - Update 10

Hurricane Lee continues to move slowly and is forecasted to pass west of Bermuda, but still may bring some wind impacts to the island later this week.

September 11, 2023 - 11:30 (EDT) - Update 9

Hurricane Lee as it continues to move slowly towards the northwest at approximately 7 kt (8.06 mph).

September 10, 2023 - 10:00 (EDT) - Update 8

Hurricane Lee is located approximately 280 miles northeast of the Northern Leeward Islands with maximum sustained winds of 105 mph.

September 9, 2023 - 14:00 (EDT) - Update 7

Hurricane Lee continues to move west-northwestward and is causing dangerous surf and rip currents along the Northern Leeward Islands.

September 8, 2023 - 11:00 (EDT) - Update 6

Hurricane Lee is expected to remain a powerful hurricane through early next week with maximum sustained winds of 155 mph. It is moving west-northwest near 13 mph but is on track to pass north of the Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

September 7, 2023 - 20:00 (EDT) - Update 5

Lee has strengthened to a dangerous Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.

September 7, 2023 - 10:00 (EDT) - Update 4

Hurricane Lee is forecast to rapidly strengthen with large swells reaching the Lesser Antilles, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico through the weekend. Lee now has maximum sustained winds of 80 mph.

September 6, 2023 - 17:00 (EDT) - Update 3

Lee has strengthened into a hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph. All Hands and Hearts is monitoring its path.

September 6, 2023 - 10:00 (EDT) - Update 2

Tropical Depression Thirteen, which gained speed and intensity is now classified as Tropical Storm Lee and is forecast to turn into a major hurricane by the weekend.  At this stage, the track and potential impact are very unclear. It is currently about 1200 miles from the Leeward Islands, moving quickly WNW with wind speeds of 65 mph, and models indicate “explosive intensification” is imminent. All Hands and Hearts is monitoring its position and forecasted strength.

September 5, 2023 - 16:30 (EDT) - Update 1

Tropical Depression Thirteen has formed in the Caribbean Sea and is expected to strengthen into a major storm, Hurricane Lee, by the end of this week. The depression is sustaining 35mph winds and tracking west-northwest and is likely to pass over Lesser Antilles islands. All Hands and Hearts will continue to monitor the storm’s movements.
