August 28, 2023 - 12:00 (EDT) - Update 4

DART arrived in California last week where we connected with SoCal VOAD, the Salvation Army and Riverside County EMD to discuss the damage. We conducted in-person assessments of the Panoram neighborhood, which had about 40 damaged homes, and attempted to assess residences in Cathedral City. Our focus encompassed vital locations, including Thousand Pines, Thermal neighborhoods, and Canyon Mobile Home Park.

After a thorough review and discussions with local partners, we identified that we will not be moving forward with response work.
