This week, just days after a tornado tore through the region, Northern Texas experienced severe weather, including a tornado, 80 mph winds, golf ball-sized hail, and life-threatening flooding, exacerbating the damage already left behind. Homes and buildings are heavily damaged, and thousands are left without power.

After experiencing unprecedented life-threatening flooding in early May, Southeastern Texas, most notably in Houston, along with its neighbor state Louisiana, is now enduring severe weather and tornadoes. Reports detail the weather has caused four casualties and left nearly a million homes and businesses without power. This weather is expected to continue, exacerbating the damage that has already been done. All Hands and Hearts will continue to monitor this severe weather and its impacts.
