Papa New Guinea Earthqauke

Four people are confirmed dead after the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that hit Papua New Guinea this past Monday. Official damage reports are still yet to be released.

On April 2, Papua New Guinea was hit by a powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake at a depth of 62km. So far, reports have shared that buildings and homes were destroyed near the quake’s epicenter, but due to the region’s remoteness, the full extent of the damage may not be known for several days.
