Volunteer Spotlight: Hantteut in Coastal Bend
I need to do something good for society, so I am glad to be here.
I like traveling, eating nice food and talking about life with other people. Even though life in Korea was not bad, I sometimes couldn’t get rid of thinking I am too selfish and don’t care about others. Also, I was addicted to computer games, gambling and stocks, which made my life terrible. I wanted to discover the better side of myself and as if by destiny, I met a friend from India and he introduced me AHAH.
It went well with AHAH, the staff kindly invited me with precise and fast replies and, more importantly, I got to know a lot of good friends here in Texas. Consistent rules and meaningful work made me stronger every day. I am amazed at how professional and organized the staff of AHAH are. There are a lot of fun activities on program too.
Volunteering in AHAH is a huge opportunity, especially for developing Asian countries’ youngsters, to see a much bigger world!
