On December 5, Cyclone Michaung landed on the Southern Indian Coast, most notably in the state of Andhra Pradesh, bringing torrential rains, strong winds and life-threatening flooding that submerged entire villages. Thirteen casualties have been reported thus far, with 400,000 affected, including 15,000 who evacuated from 25 villages. All Hands and Hearts will continue to monitor the impacts of this disaster.
